Link Gun Variant with Grenade Launcher Attachment

It was really a model that allowed for exploration of shape, design and silhouette, and helped exercise my ability to translate a 2D concept to 3D. There was an attempt to balance sci-fi with realism, as real guns were referenced as well.
The scope on this gun varies from the concept; it was originally an attachment for a SIG MPX pistol. Guns like the Milkor MGL were referenced to better understand the drum area of the gun.

I'd also referenced the awesome Link Gun model done by Pete Hayes (YemYam) to see how other artists interpreted the concepts, and to identify how they may have broken down functionality.
